"My company has been using Food Consulting Company for over 20 years. Their expertise in label compliance is ahead of the rest. I'm still trying to stump them but so far, I've been unable to ask for a service or a question that they didn't have the skills to do or answer. We are very satisfied with their abilities and the expertise and the attention they give to our many projects."

5 "Must-Haves" for FDA Food Labels

All FDA-regulated food labels require five labeling components, each with a designated location within the label. The Principal Display Panel (the front of the package) must include a statement of identity and the net quantity of contents. The Information Panel (located on the right side or back of the package) must include the Nutrition Facts label, ingredient/allergen statement, and signature line. In the next several issues of Food Label News, we'll share key take-aways for each of these requirements.
